Deveren B. Farley flipped down his first welding helmet in 1998 and he's been melting metal ever since. His scrap metal creations to date include alligators and dragons, athletes and rock stars. So far, with bits and pieces of metal scraps, he's been able to create whatever his mind has been able to conjure up.
Lately, Deveren's pieces have taken on a musical flair. His most recent work, shown here, is a metallic musical montage currently housed in a multi-million dollar mansion showcased in the 2008 St. George Area Parade of Homes in Southern Utah.
If you are seeking unique art with a "blue collar" flair you may have just found what you are looking for. Because one thing is for sure, when your medium is scrap metal and leftover tools and utensils, every piece is one-of-a-kind. And, as you might expect, so is Deveren B. Farley.
